REGISTERED NURSE/EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT
$5,000 HIRING BONUS PAID FOR 3-5 YEARS CURRENT ED EXPERIENCE

Job Summary: Provides professional nursing care within the Emergency Department; coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care. Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs of patients, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system. Is able to triage safely, rapidly and accurately, every patient that enters the emergency care system. Communicates with physicians regarding changes in patient’s status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS:


Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with two (2) years current registered nurse experience within the last 48 months, and one (1) year of critical care or emergency nursing experience.

Current Registered Nurse license within the state of Idaho. BSN Preferred.

Current BLS Certification.

Current ACLS certified oe obtained within three (3) months of hire.

Current PALS or obtained within six (6) months of hire.

Current TNCC or obtained within one (1) year of hire.

CEN or CERN strongly encouraged after 2 years of Emergency Department experience.

Language Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred.

Skills:

Basic computer knowledge. EHR Experience.

Proficient in interpreting EKG.
